COmputational Statistics and MOlecular Simulation (Paris, 2-5 February 2016)

Aims and scope

The aim of this workshop is to gather researchers working on mathematical aspects of modeling and numerical methods for various applications ranging from computational statistics to molecular dynamics in biology and chemistry (see the poster).

Organization

The workshop is organized by Arnaud Guyader (UPMC), Tony Lelièvre and Gabriel Stoltz (Ecole des Ponts and Inria Rocquencourt). The administrative organisation is done by Isabelle Simunic (Ecole des Ponts).

Funding

This event is funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant MSMath "Molecular Simulation: modeling, algorithms and mathematical analysis".

It also benefits from the scientific environments of the french ANR program COSMOS and of the LIA on high performance molecular simulation for biological applications.
