Students of a partner institution

Like all foreign students, you can apply for a Masters programme, a specialist Masters programme or a PhD programme. For an engineering degree, your options vary depending on the nature of the agreement between your parent institution and École des Ponts ParisTech.

Double-degree agreements

You will be a foreign degree student (EFD) ,if you join under a double-degree agreement (DD) between your parent institution and École des Ponts ParisTechYou will come out of the School with a degree : if you meet all your educational requirements with us and in your parent institution, you will be awarded two degrees..

To apply : the first stage is to obtain information from your parent institution, with which École des Ponts has a double-degree agreement. It is the parent institution which shortlists candidates and then sends their files to École des Ponts.

Student exchange agreements

You will be an exchange student and will not be able to obtain an engineering degree from École des Ponts ParisTech if you join under a student exchange agreement for a non-degree study programme. You will come to the École des Ponts for either one or two semesters of coursework, or for one semester of coursework and an end of course project (PFE). The credits from your course programme at École des Ponts will go towards your degree in your parent institution.
